This residence on Lower Fifth Avenue was reimagined and repurposed by Nicole Fuller from two separate units joined into one exceptional, sprawling, and completely custom home for a peripatetic owner who hails from India. Nicole took color cues from the owner’s lavish collection of Metti jewelry, which she studied in depth for the project, translating their rich jewel hues into custom colorways for everything from the wall applications, to the upholstery choices, and lighting.

Oxblood lacquered walls, amber hued light fixtures by Lianne Gold, and smoky charcoal shagreen mingle for a sultry and unexpected setting. The entry, wrapped in burlap, was finished in Italian plaster for a silvered, texture-rich patina. A harmonious neutral layer throughout the home allows for the singular choices of color and artwork to reverberate.
For an apartment in the high-rise Langham on Fifth Avenue, Fuller scripted a calm, monochromatic environment that both complements and contrasts with its midtown location.
